It was lightweight and probably would have been nice and warm. Unfortunately I had to send it back because it was too small. I ordered a size 12 which I usually do but because it was fitted I probably should have ordered one size up but since it was on sale it wasn't available in a 14. I felt really bad that I had to send it back because it was a beautiful jacket.
