The fabric and details were great. It was gorgeous! Unfortunately around the middle (size 8)it made me look like a snow man! I WANTED to keep it but returned it due to the bulk around the middle. :(
By Old Bay Girl from Southern Maryland on 01/26/2009 Cons: Bulky, Sized too small Best Uses: Casual Wear, Downhill Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought this for skiing but returned as it is a size too small. Also, it is a very heavy coat that I think would make me too hot while skiing. It is stylish and warm, though.
Rides up during the downhill ride. By Shopping Queen from Biloxi, MS on 12/30/2008 Pros: Lots of Pockets, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Cons: Bulky, Constricts Movement, Rides up at the waist Best Uses: Casual Wear, Downhill Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this jacket because it was stylish and looked as though it would be a great addition to my ski wardrobe. I usually wear a 4-6 and bought the 6. I was a bit disappointed in the fit, as it tends to ride up while skiing and the arms are a little on the short side. Otherwise, it is pretty much true to size. Too, it is a very heavy jacket, not useful for skiing on sunny days. However, it is very cute!
