By Downhill Mom from Seattle, WA on 01/21/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Lots Of Pockets, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Downhill skiing, Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Stayed dry and toasty skiing in cold, windy weather last weekend. The fit, style and color (sky blue) on this jacket are great! I ordered up one size (to 8) to make sure I had room for layering and it is plenty roomy, but does not look bulky thanks to good styling. The material does make a crinkly noise as another reviewer mentioned, but I didn't find it excessive and it is worth staying warm and dry!
By ski lover from Western Upper Michigan on 01/04/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Lots Of Pockets, Stylish, Warm Cons: Arms are tight, Zipper sticks sometimes Best Uses: Casual Wear, Extreme Conditions, Sports, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this jacket downhill skiing in cold temps and with high winds. It has kept me warm and is extremely lightweight (why I bought a new jacket). The only con for me is that the upper arms are a little tight (I usually wear a light base layer and fleece top underneath). I skied today 15 degrees with 25mph wind and stayed warm for 3 hrs before cold hands and feet drove me inside.
By nataliewb from Minneapolis, MN on 12/30/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Lots Of Pockets, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Sports Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this jacket for skiing this winter. I haven't gotten to ski in it yet, but I have worn it around town as a casual jacket, and love it. It is very comfortable and lightweight, especially compared to my old one. I ordered one size larger than normal, and there is plenty of room to layer underneath.
