Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: As is, this is a very stylish plantation style hat. I threw mine in the pool overnight and then twisted it around to give it a vintage look. I always wanted to do this with a straw hat but they were too expensive. Not this one.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a good looking hat at a bargain closeout price. It is quite heavy and stiff for a straw hat, probably twice as heavy as a typical Panama hat. The brim is also quite stiff and not particularly shapeable. It could probably be steamed to shape. I would not buy it at a retail price, and probably wouldn't buy it at all if I tried it on in person.
