Whole top of hat is quilted thinsulate, and the ears flaps flip down. It might be a tad big for its size, but not much. The crown is deep enough to tuck the tips of your ears into with the flaps still up for those not-quite-cold days. You have to dig the Elmer Fudd look, of course.
