Carried 3 days of gear into Havasupai! By Hiker Girl from Prescott, AZ on 10/12/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load, Good padding, Highly Adjustable Best Uses: Backpacking, Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Just got back from a 3 day trip into Havasupai (8 miles in and roughly 2 miles from the lodge daily into Havasu Falls, Mooney Falls, etc. This pack carried 3 days clothing; trail mix for in/out of the canyon; my camel pack with 1/2 gallon water, plus 2 24oz bottles for our day trips; apples; my Keen sandals for the day trips into the waterfalls; a full size beach towel; my swimsuit, a book, first aid kit and bathroom essential kit. I rated this item before my trip as 5 stars and would give it that rating + after hiking with it into the Canyon and out again. Perfect fit for a woman and although it is small, with creative packing it held all I needed!

shoulder straps too closely placed By mjw from vt on 08/04/2009 Pros: Good padding, Lightweight Cons: Shoulder straps too close Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Sent it back. Unable to correct the shoulder strap placement, will rub sides of neck raw. Pity, but appears to be built for a pencil-neck rather than a normal human.
