By m from Oklahoma on 08/07/2008 Pros: Good padding, Large capacity, Pretty colors, Very adjustable Cons: Partially thinner fabric Best Uses: Car Camping, Day trip Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A good product overall. I'm concerned that the exterior fabric could be a little too lightweight, but the rest of the pack seems quite sturdy. My last Kelty daypack lasted nearly seven years of almost daily use.
By The less the better from Salem, OR on 08/05/2008 Pros: Good padding, Large capacity, Organization Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this pack to use for carting around kids' water bottles, change of clothes, snacks, wallet, keys, and still have my hands free. It is a very nice pack with lots of pockets and organizational details. But I am definitely a minimalist and 1400 cu in is WAY too big for my use. I didn't realize that until I saw it. I probably need more like 800 cu in. for everyday use, but this is such a nice pack I will keep it for day hikes when we want to bring a full lunch, extra water, jackets, etc.
