Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was skeptical at their length, but ending up loving these poles for my rim-to-rim hike at the Grand Canyon. The cork handles were perfect for downhill and I didn't get even close to having a blister, even after 14 miles and 5700 feet of elevation loss. The shock absorbers were great. Easy to adjust, lightweight - I love these poles!
