Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The only slight drawback I noticed is the propensity of the anti-shock mechanism to switch state by itself during use, probably because of vibrations (mostly on hard, rocky terrain), which is not that much of a problem anyway. Other than that, they are of very good quality, have truly wear resistant tips, are light, take normal accidents (e.g. caught tips, hits, sudden load increase etc.) very well and, used correctly, will make your hiking experience much more pleasurable and safer. Make sure you clean them properly after every trip and know how use and to maintain them! This will prevent you getting into trouble such as stuck segments or failure to lock.
