Appears to be well made and functional: By Jacat from Seattle, Washington area on 04/02/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Works Well Best Uses: Bird watching, One day fishing trips, Warm Climate Describe Yourself: Experienced Hunter Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just received the product so have not had a chance to use it much for it's intended purpose but it appears to work fine.
Interior light was non-functional on arrival so put in my own.
Replaced one water bottle with a small thermos on a short fishing trip-worked great!

I found the ability to use it as two carrying devices very useful. The fanny pack for short treks and the back pack or both for extended hunts. It is by far one of the most comfortable day packs I have used. 6 stars.
