By GSP from San Carlos, CA on 02/14/2009 Pros: Easy To Identify, Good Capacity, High Quality Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Sturdy and well-made, but:
* "suit carrier" is not removable and not large enough for a large person's suit
* zippers are of indifferent quality and don't zip easily
* dimensions are 1 linear inch too large for many airlines
* handle extensions are easy to misalign or damage
On the other hand, the wheels are great, and at the sale price (under !00), it's a very good value.
By BargainShopGirl from Hartford, CT on 12/21/2008 Pros: Good Capacity, High Quality Cons: Heavy To Begin With, Too large Describe Yourself: Career, Classic Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: So much potential...
I love the design but it's simply too large. It's slightly too large for US carry-on requirements and not even close for international requirements. Given how strict the airlines are these days, I just couldn't risk it.
By Exploringearth from Denver, CO on 03/17/2008 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Great suit holder, High Quality Cons: Too big for carry-on Best Uses: Business Trips, Weekend Trips Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Victorinox makes really great luggage and this piece would be the perfect carry-on for business trips except for one small detail. It is about 1 inch too large to meet the carry-on luggage requirements and it has to be checked.
