I wouldn't buy this again. By gmo from Grand Junction, CO on 11/11/2009 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: From the time I took this compass out of the box I could not get it to read properly. I sent it back because it was a waste of money.

Orienteering racer doesn't like this one By Dee from Saint John, New Brunswick on 09/23/2009 Pros: Accurate, Simple Controls Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The compass itself seems like it's constructed great. However, within seconds I realized it's not for me. I do a lot of orienteering/adventure races where the compass is hanging from my neck while running. The dial moves much too easily and you'd lose your bearing!!
I will not use this and would return it if it didn't cost so much to do so.
