I was also psyched that the insole is removable so I could put my high-arch soles in a pair of slip-ons. I'm sure I would have liked them as much as my other Mephistos, if only I had received the correct size. My other Mephistos are 10s, and in Euro sizes I am a 41 (Birks, Josef Seibel, etc.) The conversion chart printed on the Mephisto box has US sizes listed in staggered places between Euro sizes; 10 is past 41.
