Too Bad...Could Have Been A Great Bag By BigSkyAdventurist from West Yellowstone, Montana on 07/28/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Roomy, Stows Easily, Warm Cons: Stupid Plastic Strip Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was very excited to recieve this bag until...I noticed a stupid plastic strip sewn inside the entire length of the zipper. This plastic strip is hard, noisy and very uncomfortable against the skin when sleeping, especially when used zipped open as a comforter. Too Bad...this could have been a fine bag for a great price. This design flaw is why it went to closeout.
By BigSkyAdventurist from West Yellowstone, Montana on 07/18/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Roomy, Stows Easily, Warm Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Too Bad...great bag at a great price....had to return it. There is a STUPID hard plastic strip along the entire length of the zipper. It is noisy, stiff and very uncomfortable against the skin. What a shame....I loved the color, feel, quality and price. If it sounds too good to be true...it usually is. This is the reason the Wind River Bag went to closeout.
Great lightweight down bag By Jim from Salt Lake City, Utah on 07/05/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Roomy, Stows Easily Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great under-2-pound sleeping bag that will be ideal for desert backpacking in the fall and spring. The rectangular shape is comfortable, and the "long" version is great for those over 6 feet tall.
