It is so comfortable
Light minimalist bag, should do the job By Hiker chick from Cambridge, MA on 09/13/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Stows Easily, Warm, Water Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this bag for a first shot at a summer minimalist overnight. I am a small woman, so have to really cut the gear to fit into a short-torso pack. I picked this bag for the low weight, although I can't find the exact stat for the weight on the "short". I am 5'-5" and it's exactly right. I'm pretty sure they used the same stuff sac for the short as the regular, because it doesn't seem compressed all the way when stuffed. I may buy an even smaller sac for it.
The Daze is immediately toasty on wriggling in. Foot box is pretty snug though-- I'm an active sleeper and I will miss the ability to wiggle around a tad more or slide one foot up, or bottom vent with a full length zipper (this one is only 2/3). But in return, I get a 6" smaller stuffed size than the other SD bag I tried. I do wish it offered some fabric under my head though, since I'm not sure I will carry a sleeping pad or pillow. The new season of Golite bags have a hood (and men's and women's models), but I'm not ready to shell out for those just yet.
Great Summer bag even for big guys By mtnbob from Greenville SC on 08/17/2008 Pros: Great Zipper System, Lightweight, Stows Easily, Warm Best Uses: 3 Season Camping, Backpacking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Only minor thing that this bag needs is a full length zipper. The long size fits me at 6'1" 295#, and weighs next to nothing
