I almost went w/the x-small but am so, so glad I didn't. This is the perfect size and strap length--extended, it hits right at my hip and I'm 5'6".
Also, I was afraid to order the grizzly/mineral color--it looked too pink in the photo for me, but it is NOT. It's very earthy and beautiful and not at all pink. I LOVE this bag.
