No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I think this would be better if it were not so thick. The fabric is excellent quality, the color is quite pretty, but for my purposes, the overall case is way too bulky and heavy. For the size, I can just use my airline carry-on and get more articles with less weight. Too bad, though, I do like the case. It is just not practical especially for flying.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've never carried a separate smaller bag for cosmetics. I like this, though, because when I travel on business with my spouse, we can both fit all our toiletries and my makeup -- it divides down the middle and we each have a side. If anything spills, it's not in our main luggage, and this is very sturdy. Works as a carry-on or check-through. Has a sturdy shape.
