By northeast snowboarder from maine on 09/07/2008 Pros: Breathable, Goret-tex 'nuff said, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Black shows dirt quickly Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: great jacket and a great deal. i had looked at and wanted this jacket when it first came out but at almost [$] it was a little out of my range at the time. as good as or better than the burton equivalent. basic styling that doesn't really go "out of style" and waterproof enough that i've used this jacket in some serious rain storms. thumbs up all around. the "recco" feature is pretty much just a gimmick right now because of the limited number of resorts (at least in the states) that the technology is used. if you are seriously looking for avalanche safety get a real beacon/locator.

Keeps you warm and dry without the cost of weight or bulkyness. Best snow sport jacket I ever got. Definitely worth the price.
