It is lightweight, however, and will not be warm enough when the truly cold weather hits or for use in really cold snowy regions. It runs small - my two year old is big for her age, and the fit is quite snug so I doubt she will be able to wear it next year. Can't beat the price, though, so overall I'm satisfied.
