This coat has an inner liner that comes down over the hand and hooks on the thumbs to stay put. No more cold air getting in there! Love it. Does run big, but he'll grow. Tons of features and pockets too. Nice jacket.

We do not ski or snowboard and we live in a slightly more moderate climate region. Still, this is a great coat, especially for the price.
