These have grow tabs and are a perfect fit. They also cost much less than snowpants that were on sale at major outdoor adventure sports stores. He hated his old snowpants because they were so stiff and he had difficulty getting them on over his jeans to walk to the bus stop. I don't have to fight with him anymore to put these on, and there are cool pockets on the legs he can easily reach with his parka on.
