I have tried many other running shoes and never was happy. I tried a pair of Ecco dress shoes and was blown away with their comfort. Foot and back pain was gone. I have had the same pair for over 5 years now and they look brand new! I figured if they make a dress shoe this comfortable then the running shoe must be great! With out a doubt! The last pair of Ecco runners I used were the 1220's. Great shoe! The Ecco 3040 is just as great, I bought 2. At first I thought the shoe was too tight but after 4 miles it was perfect. Last note...STP is great.
