Seemed very solid but very narrow By Biz from Newton,NH on 09/29/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Great Traction, Sturdy/Durable, Warm Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels full size too small, Feels too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These seemed like just the boots I was looking for. I needed something solid and durable with good support and traction but when I tried them on I could barely get my hand in them nevermind my foot. I have a small but a wide foot and usually wear a 7.5-8. Thats what I ordered but there's no way it would fit and there were no larger sizes available. Really dissapointed because otherwise they seem like a great boot.
By climbing life from Laramie Wy on 09/15/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction, Sturdy/Durable Cons: Too Stiff/Not Flexible Best Uses: Day Hiking, Harsh Terrain, Heavy Loads, Long-Distance Hiking, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer, Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Loved these boots! Took them on a short hike boot 2 miles the first day ever using them and they fit perfect. The next day walked back to Valley Massif and ended missing the beaver dam so we walked through a nice swamp but my feet stayed perfectly dry and comfy. They felt stiff at first but within the 2 days of wearing them for 6 hours they already feel more flexible.
