Ecostep Vibram® rubber lug outsole tracks through multiple terrains and contains up to 30% recycled rubber; contoured anatomic midsole has 15% recycled foam with air-cushioning disk for stability; anatomic footbed has 70% recycled material.

The only time my feet get wet is when I plunge in the water over the tops! Wet grass, shallow creeks...no problems!

They fit perfect since I bought them a half size larger. I have flat/wide feet so they fit snug and secure. The Capilene lining make them warm so I would not recommend them in warm weather. The top two lace hooks are also close together so u have to take your time to lace them up and the lugs stick out on the sides so they get caught on stuff but that's no big deal. The canvas-like outer material seems like would make them tough to clean as well. If I were so inclined they would be great for hiking rugged terrain and the slight stiffness would probably make them good for light loads. Over all I am very happy. For the price and Patagonia quality u can't beat it.
