Great Hiking Boot - Great Everyday Boot By Ashpitman from Seven Mountains, PA on 11/04/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Arch Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction, High Quality Leather, Sturdy/Durable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Day Hiking, Everyday, Scree Hopping Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Everyday to work, day hiking on weekends. Just stiff enough to jump from rock to rock, and still wear everyday. Sole is replaceable, so I'll be wearing these for a long, long time. Replaced a pair of Vasque Skywalkers (China) that were my favorite boots until the sole split across the ball of my foot. I've worn these a week and they feel comfortable but not yet broke in. The leather and soles on these are better than the Vasques. The clean design and exceptional workmanship speak well of Italy.

Need a week of walking in these boots to break them in and I highly recommend doing so.
