By HarryJ from Palm Harbor, FL on 06/14/2008 Pros: Stable, Water Resistant Cons: No QuadCimfort, Not quite slip-resisrant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Above all the sizing issue; Quantum from LaCrosse fit me perfectly OOB (SIZE9w). BigHorn is so much smaller I couldn't believe it. Comfort level is way below Quantum. You might need to order 1 1/2 size bigger to use insole and thick socks. One manufacture and this much variances is amazing. But, they are well-made and water tight--I'll keep on wearing almost everyday.
excellent boot for the money By Bill from Old Lyme, Ct on 04/17/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stable, Water Resistant Describe Yourself: Professional Guide Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am a carpenter and need the steel toes that these boots offer. I bought two pairs because I rotate them every other day. I was so impressed with the quality for the price I paid that I called up and they still had two more pairs in my size for later use.
