By [@]blissfulbodyyoga[@] from Gastonia, NC on 08/12/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, NO blisters EVER, Regulates Temperature Well, Stylish, Wash and dry well, Wicks Away Moisture Best Uses: Backpacking, Daily Use, Hiking, Team Sports, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are wonderful, as are all the SmartWool socks. Your feet will be so happy! I usually get blisters ALL the time, and I never get them as long as I wear SmartWool socks (even if my feet get wet.) I wear them for hiking and running, and I put A LOT of miles on them. They are extremely durable and machine wash and dry well. Sierra Trading Post definitely has the best prices on them.
Excellent Sock at a good price By PellaCPC from Wisconsin on 07/23/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Regulates Temperature Well Best Uses: Daily Use, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered a variety of Smartwool socks from STP and decided that these were the best of the bunch for summer wear. I am ordering some more.
Very good backpacking socks By Shenandoah Hiker from Far Hills, NJ on 07/08/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Design, Wicks Away Moisture Best Uses: Backpacking, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My very outdoorsy friend recommended these to me, and I was not disappointed. They're comfortable and fit well, and they wicked away all moisture and left me blister free. The wool isn't itchy, but despite their advertising claims, they were a bit warm for summertime wear. The only other con is that they take awhile to dry due to their cushioning, which can be an issue on the trail. They'll definitely be my go-to hiking socks for fall, winter, and spring, though!
