By Fly Guy from Manchester, NH on 09/08/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Grip Best Uses: Fly Fishing, Freshwater Fishing, Saltwater Fishing Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are Simms economy boot but are comfortable and well made like most of Simms products. Unlike their more expensive boots however these have a turned out rather than the trimmer turned in sole attachment. This makes them too big to use with my Korker studded sandals that I was able to wear with my two previous pairs of Simms boots. They are also heavier than my old Simms guide boots and significantly heavier than their light weight boots.

By Dan the fisherman from Yelm, Wa. on 07/23/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Easily, Durable, Good Grip, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Simms products are top of the line. The Freestone is not the Simms top of the line boot, but still one of the best buys for the money. I use them flyfishing for steelhead in Wa state. They are great.
