I had them shipped to me at work, put them on as soon as I opened the box, and have not removed them yet. The leather is very soft and comfy, and the shoe just gently "holds" your foot. The step is so nicely cushioned... and they really look great too. Although you notice the inconvenient buckle, the reason I almost DID NOT buy them, what they dont show you is the elastic on the other end, which allows me to still slip them on and off. A super intelligent design, from my point of view. So once you set the buckle you wont need to open it or close it again! These are really great, and will become my new travel footwear- (extended flights)
