feet and legs tend to "freeze" in winter. She hasn't yet worn them, but they will be worth the sale price I paid it she wears them only at home while she studies for her classes. I'll consider the usage bonus if she chooses to wear them to school. (She has sometimes wished aloud that her SmartWool Trekking socks were mid-calf length or higher. She will probably wear these over the Trekking socks!) They are pure merino wool, quite soft and beautiful. She will likely wish I had bought more than one pair. I look forward to having her enjoy them!
