By Weird Willie from Little Rock, Arkansas on 08/19/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Highly Adjustable, Lightweight Best Uses: Boating, Paddling Describe Yourself: Advanced User Chest Size: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I haven't rolled with it yet, but it has tons of adjustability so it shouldn't move around when upside down. It has lots of pockets/storage, which may not be perfect for hardcore playboating but I think they are a nice addition that most lifejackets don't have.
By SARMAN from VA on 06/22/2009 Describe Yourself: Recreational User Chest Size: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Would rate higher if it was USCG approved
By Epic Paddler from Napa Valley, CA on 05/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Versatile Cons: Limited adjustability Describe Yourself: Advanced User Chest Size: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: As an intermediate kayaker into fitness paddling, I like the pocket on the back for a water bladder. The other pockets are also very welcome and useful. This pfd is not as adjustable and form fitting as the Lotus Designs pfd it replaces for me. The strap around the bottom of the pfd, for instance, does not tighten quite enough. But the hydration and other pockets are worth the trade-off, as the Lotus had a fraction of the space. I've rolled my boat and done paddle-float recoveries with a full Camelback bladder in the back pocket, and found the pfd doing what it should, without noticeable riding up.
