But theese are my third pair of Merrell shoes, and all in all I love them all, and wear them all thin, but that takes years.

They are perfect! They are nice and warm, repell water and slush and snow, and look "everyday" enough to wear out to the store or on a walk with the kids. Comfortable right out of the box. I think I had them on for one day to break them in, but my feet never hurt at all, just maybe a little stiff that first day. The only drawback is that I have to spend a few seconds lacing them up, but I wanted taller shoes to stay out of the slush and mud. Yahoo!
