By loveBackpacking from Albuquerque, NM on 11/08/2008 Pros: Ankle Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction, Sturdy/Durable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Day Hiking, Long-Distance Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is an amazing pair of boots. I wore these on a four mile hike right after I got them and I didn't have any blisters or hot spots. These boots kept my feet completely dry when I was hiking in the rain, but I haven't had the chance to see how they would hold up to stream crossing.

By Vitamin K from St. Paul, MN on 11/07/2008 Pros: Arch Support, Flexible, Great Traction, Sturdy/Durable, Water Resistant Cons: Ankle rubbing, Difficult Laces Best Uses: Day Hiking, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Overall I am satified with the boot, however my right ankle(outer bone) hurts after wearing the boot for 5 minutes - this is still true after 20 hours of breakin. I now pad my right ankle - seems to work, but is a hassle.
