By HIking shoe buyer from Phoenix, AZ on 10/19/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Dries Quickly, Durable, Great Traction, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, Everyday, Mixed Terrain, Paved Trails, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Adventure traveler, Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great all-around shoe. I took this on a trip to Southern Africa and wore almost every day--took the place of athletic shoes and hiking boots. Good traction and support. Were lightweight, comfortable and easy to take off. They were fine with orthodics.
Just bought another pair for a gift.
By Morning Moose from Palmdale, CA on 09/19/2009 Pros: Comfortable/No Break-In Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have used my Symbios on hikes with bulky socks to make the fit better. I especially like the absence of seams and the ease of tightening up or loosening with the lace system. I'm going to add my dirty girl gators with the Symbios for the dirty trails here in the desert.
By tellerarms from Colorado Springs, CO on 09/17/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Dries Quickly, Durable, Great Traction, Shock-Absorbent, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, Mixed Terrain, Paved Trails, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Gym Rat, Recreational Walker/Hiker, Trail Jogger Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have owned these just two weeks and have already hiked in them on three different occasions, including one difficult 12 mile hike. They are so comfortable! No blisters, no break in time, no rubbing. The quick laces are great and don't slip at all. The price on these was outstanding. All in all, a great shoe at a great price.
