I needed size 36 in this Arche style, a size smaller than I usually wear, as I have thin ankles and to make the sandal stable, the smaller size worked better. If your foot is wide in front and your ankles are normal you should be fine in your normal size...otherwise go down a size. I'm taking my sandals to Paris to wear in the evening.

The inside of the sandal is silky smooth; the toe ring will take some getting used to, but I've got sensitive feet. Because of the toe ring and the straps, this shoe feels very stable on your foot. I'm usually an 8 1/2 narrow, I went down to an 8 medium and the shoe fits beautifully. Beware that the inner sole of this sandal is lined in a bright color which you can definitely see.
