percussion ranch doorbell not loud eough By berkshire grandma from Great Barrington, MA on 08/14/2008 Describe Yourself: Bargain Hunter, High-End Shopper, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I've heard Woodstock wind chimes and liked them so I had hopes for this doorbell. However, it didn't make enough sound to be heard when the front door was closed, so it was useless for us. Maybe as a warning before entering an office or other indoor room it might be useful. It wasn't worth sending it back so I'll give it to someone who might use it indoors.
