comfortable and great fit By Beginner Boarder from Whitehouse Station, NJ on 03/11/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Lacing System, Quality Construction Describe Yourself: Getting Started Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great snowboard boot. It is very comfortable and quick and easy to lace. It holds down the ankle well so you have good control of your board. Highly recommended.
Does not fit like a normal boot By QT Pie from Boston, MA on 02/25/2008 Cons: Lacks Adjustability, Poor Construction, Poor Fit Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Be warned, this boot does not quite fit into all bindings perfectly. I went [...] with these boots (size 6.0 in women's) and tried it in all the medium bindings there. The boot's heel would be about 1 cm off the bottom of the binding as the heel width was just too big. I even tried upsizing the bindings from a Medium (sizes 6-8) to a large (8-10) and that just looked awkward and still did not fit in some of the large burton bindings. You will have to buy a suitable Salomon pair of bindings but otherwise, the inside is semi-padded, true to fit, and secure. Overall, I would recommend passing this deal and finding a better quality boot for a little bit more. For example, try the Burton Cavas for[$] or Burton Sapphires for [$] in the after season sale. They are true to fit and fit well into all bindings (Salomon, K2, Ride, Burton, etc.).
By Mimi from Yakima Wa on 12/05/2007 Pros: Adjustability, Quality Construction Cons: Lacks Adjustability, Poor Fit Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: these boots have a tight heel fit that makes it very uncomfortable getting into them. Once on they squeeze into the achilles area and that wears on you after a day on the hill. For us athletic Gals that have a little larger more muscled leg and ankle area they just don't work as well as I hoped they would! These would work fine for a skinny legged gal I think
