By Nickelodeon from Atlanta, Ga on 02/16/2009 Describe Yourself: Getting Started Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: No padding under foot & hard, inflexible material within shoe make these very uncomfortable, especially at the ankle bone, even just to stand in them.
comfortable, supportive 75 mm ski boots By Suz," the-out-the -back -door skier" from Michigan countryside on 02/03/2009 Pros: Adjustability, Classic look and construc, Comfortable, Easy Lacing System, Good supportstability, Quality Construction, Roomy toe box, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Backcountry groomed trai, Cross country skiing, Groomed park trails, Non groomed trails, Trail blazing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I normally wear a 7 1/2 or 8 shoe. I bought an 8 and it fits perfect with room enough for my winter athletic insoles and a medium heavy cushion ski sock. The toe box is rounded and roomy enough for my toes to stay warm. The boots are solid and provide enough stability and support for deeper snow, although I would use gaiters to keep the snow from getting in around the ankles. The boots are flexible enough to get a good kick on the straight away and I can use them to help with edge on turns. The boots felt best after wearing them a few hours and they softened up some after use. I would like them to be a bit softer yet. I use them on hilly and flat groomed and non-groomed park and backcountry trails, or just out the back door.
By Road Rash from Albuquerque on 01/29/2009 Pros: Quality Construction Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is an extremely well-made boot, except that it bent too far back on my foot for comfortable telemark turns and pinches. Perhaps if you size it smaller, the bend would be in a better place (i.e. more where your foot bends)-- beware.
