By eastern shore from Federalsburg, MD on 10/23/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants are an average cut, no elastic in waist. I needed the sun protection and my waist is large compared to my hips and legs so the hips/legs are baggy on me. (My fault, not the pants!) The color is a pretty cocoa, won't show dirt, yet not so dark that you fry when in direct sunlight.
Nice light weight hiking pants By Luv to hike from Phoenix, AZ on 10/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I originally ordered a size up because of the reviews but found that my regular size 4 fit better for my small petite frame (5', 110 lbs). Although the color wasn't exactly what I wanted, the quality of these pants are great for the price. The length is a bit long for me as capris as it falls about an inch above my ankles but would probably be fine for a regular height woman. It's light and very packable, not taking up much space in my carry-on bag. I've not bought this brand before but I'm pleased with the quality of the sewing. Wrinkles come out easily with a cool iron.
By Sun / desert fan from Phoenix, AZ on 10/12/2009 Pros: High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable, Very well made pants Best Uses: Camping, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Reviews indicated that pants ran small and to order a size up which I did. However, I found a 6 to be too big for me so I returned it for a 4. Just rcvd the smaller one and find that it's a true size for petites (I'm 5'). The down side was that the color that I wanted was not available so I settled for another one because the quality is so good. It'll be great for hiking in the desert and casual wear.
