By Joe from Mammoth Lakes on 05/20/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight Cons: Danier bleeds on boots, Material rips easily, Not Enough Pockets or Features Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: If you plan to use these pants from skiing, x-country, randonee etc.. any sport that uses two edges... BEWARE! The inside ankle pads are made of very light denier material and will cut like butter if an edge is run across it. Also, the black denier material on the bottom of the cuffs will bleed onto your boots, making cleanup a pain in the a_ _! Don't buy these pants just because they are inexpensive and made of Gore-Tex.
I would buy this product again By taigi from seoul, korea. on 04/20/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Stylish Best Uses: Backcountry, Hiking Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I will use this product for winter backpacking.
Excellent product!!
By outdoor nut from bridgewater, ma on 04/05/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Waterproof Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: Backcountry, Downhill, Hiking, Mountaineering Describe Yourself: Advanced Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: -the full side zips make these pants great for getting them on and off with crampons
-it would be nice to have just one pocket. there are none.
-a bit baggy in the butt area. they don't look all that fashionable on the ski slope, but they are extremely functional in the backcountry, ice climbing, and general mountaineering-
-the suspenders seem to make the pants ride up a bit, but the flexible waist makes it so you don't really even need the suspenders.
