Stylish, looks better in person By Ski Bum from Bentonville, AR on 11/09/2009 Pros: Durable, Stylish, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Haven't used it yet, not cold enough, plan to use when we go skiing on Spring Break.
Fitted around the waist, runs small so plan for that. I ordered one size up.
So far pleased, especially with the way it looks.
By Rocky Mountain Momma from San Antonio, Texas on 10/12/2009 Pros: Durable, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Beautiful coat. Quality and attention to detail. Many bells and whistles. The sleeves are a bit too long. I am normally an 8 and I ordered a 10. It is a tiny bit big, but will leave plenty of room for the base layers. It would take you all day to count all of the extras on this coat. You understand why the retail price was $800 once you see it.
By ski bum from Boulder on 04/27/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Downhill, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this jacket - very stylish, lots of extras, lightweight and warm. I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because even though I bought up a size as recommended, it still feels a bit tight through my shoulders if I have a sweater and a turtleneck on underneath. I can't go up one more size up because the length of the sleeves are already a bit long for me (I have short arms so it may not be an issue for anyone else). The shoulder tightness is helped quite a bit by the stretchiness of the fabric. This could be due to the stylish fitting of this jacket. Didn't restrict my skiing at all.
