By Brian from Southern California on 09/23/2008 Pros: Down-turned toes, Lightweight Best Uses: Bouldering, Gnar overhanging sport Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Really small, even compared to other 5.10 shoes. I have a pair of size 10 Galileos that feel like they fit the same as my size 11 V-10s.
I took them out and they were awesome boundering around and edging on about anything. The toe box is relatively stiff, but the mid-sole and heel are really flexible, so although my shoes are pretty painful if you leave them on for longer than 10 minutes, they are bearable and allow you to send the gnar.
By Mountain Man from Fort Collins, CO on 09/18/2008 Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Sticky rubber, Versatile Cons: Fabric is a bit baggy Best Uses: Bouldering, Indoor, Outdoor, Sport climbing Describe Yourself: Competitive Climber Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This shoe is not meant to be comfortable (i wear 13 sneaker and got a size 12). This is the original down-turned, competition shoe. I love the V-10 for bouldering, steep rock, sport and competitions. Can't wait to unleash them during ABS season. The only drawback is the upper fabric is a bit baggy if you don't have a high volume foot, however once i climb in them for 20 hours or so the fabric should contract a little and conform to my foot. I could always use a strap to cinch it down. These things sold out quick. Amazing shoe!
By Aaron from 29 Palms, Ca. on 09/12/2008 Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: this shoe is like 2 sizes too small.. I wear a size 10 I bought a size 11 and I can just about get my foot in this shoe.
if you buy this shoe, and want a nice tight shoe get a size bigger, if you want a confortable shoe get two sizes bigger!
