By chahuck from southern Oregon on 10/07/2009 Cons: Poor Fit, Poor Ventilation Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I got this jacket for bike commuting, mainly for visibility. I wish I had gotten the silver although the red is quite noticeable, which is important at night for me. It does a good job of blocking wind but does not breathe a bit. I get to work and I am soaked. The fit is super tight as well. Wish I had saved my money on this one.
By TxRunGirl from Houston on 10/07/2008 Pros: Warm, Wind-resistant Cons: Stiff fabric, Tight in arms Best Uses: Cold windy weather Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: the fabric seems stiff for a work-out jacket, but I tried it with my aerobars on my bike, and it does not feel restrictive. I find that too-long sleeves are good for the bike :) The sleeves are TIGHT, but I have scrawny runner arms, so it's okay -- but I think I'll only be able to layer one long-sleeve shirt under it. I think the size of the body part is okay, as the description states that the small is a size 2. (Zoot clothing tends to run small.) So I can definitely layer one long-sleeve and another sleeveless top under it. I think it will be great for cold-wind-resistance. I would not have wanted to pay full price for it, but I should write another review after the winter season!
not worth even the [...] price By Yogilates addict from Eugen OR on 06/23/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this because I loved the color and brightness of the fabric, also I love very fitted sports apparel. I am not a runner, but I thought this would be great, comfy and stylish enough for travelling and walking on the frigid Oregon beaches. It is usually more that I'd spend on sports apparel and this one proved not to be worth the money I've spend on it. I only travelled in the car for three days from Minnesota to Oregon, and the painted stips around shouldres started to peel. I am very particular how my clothes look, and I thought that for that blimey price, and only three days of wear it is not that great of quality. It's not worth it walking around with peeling paint hanging around your shoulders and armpits, quite embarassing actually. Also if you have anything rough even your fingernails or you hands are not moisturized enough it nicks the fabric. It is supposed to be for runnig, hard workouts and that kind of abuse to me it didn't deliver, I could have spend this money on something worth while. Very disapointed.
