These socks do have a definite seam, but it doesn't hurt me. The seam looks less prominent than that on other socks I own, and that may be the reason. Whatever the reason, it is a wonderful feature and makes a world of difference.

All are well worth the money, well made except for the occasional pair that had poor quality seaming by the toes. Check every pair out that you buy. Also I buy my socks one size smaller than my shoe size so that they are a trim fit. Haven't had a problem with these being tight.
