Great jacket for bicycling By Rainy day bicyclist from Oregon on 10/26/2009 Pros: Breathable, Good Pockets and Features, Lightweight Best Uses: Mountain Biking, Road Biking Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really like this jacket. Keeps me nice and warm on cool days, but doesn't get "sauna-like" warm as some of my hard shells do. I bought this jacket for warmth and some water resistance for the occasional light rain shower. For heavy rain I use my rain jacket over the top.
By Cat from Atlanta on 10/25/2009 Pros: Dries Quickly, Good Pockets and Features, Good Protection from the Elements Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Tested it out today on a 50 miler in 40 degree weather. It was perfect, and even when it warmed up a little, I didn't get hot like I normally do with things that have micro fleece.
By Carolla from Cincinnati, OH on 10/16/2009 Pros: Breathable, Good Pockets and Features, Good Protection from the Elements, Lightweight Cons: Weak Material or Stitching Best Uses: Cold Weather, Road Biking Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great jacket for fit and breathability. My one complaint is that the material began "pilling" after I wore a hydration pack with it on a long ride. The material "pilled" wherever the straps hit the gray "breathable" parts on the jacket. I was pretty disappointed, since I really do like the jacket, yet I will probably send it back since it seems that the fabric won't hold up to this kind of repeat use. If you are a straight cyclist and don't wear a pack/bag, then no problem. Otherwise, consider something a little more durable.
