By Fishnfool from Colorado and Cabo on 03/02/2008 Pros: Easy To Use, Functional, Very, very lightweight Best Uses: Fresh Water, Pike, Carp, Bass, Salt., Salt Water Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like the pack overall. It is very light and comfortable. I do not like the torso straps, they do not adjust well and I worry that the magnets will wear out fast (only time will tell). Also the nylon is very thin and may not last very long, but you have to expect this from such a light pack. This pack has alot of storage space for how light and compact it is,I can fit a compact jacket and cap in the rear pocket and fly boxes, tippet, etc. in the front pocket. It also has two built in retractors (one on each pocket, would be nice if they were both on the same side of the pack), a forceps pocket, and two removeable water resistant pockets (advertised as waterproof but they are not).I modified my torso straps and retractor setup and would now give it 5 stars but as it comes only 3 or 4. I think it would be hard to find a better deal on a chest pack. Many packs on the market offer less space and still weigh more and are less comfortable.
By Don from Sanborn, NY on 12/13/2007 Best Uses: Fly Fishing, Freshwater Fishing Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The rip stop nylon material is lightweight and in my opinion wouldn't hold up to the fishing conditions encountered Steelhead fishing the Great Lakes. However, it is very stylish and even as small as it appears it can hold a couple of medium sized fly boxes and miscelaneous gear.
