After you put it on, you forget it's there but will certainly appreciate it's warmth. The arm length is purely British (like all of Barbour's products - only slightly shorter than American length), as is to be expected, but the fabric gives well. I chose the option above listing it as "Feels to Short" but it isn't terribly short and again it will stretch if necessary. I like a close neckline for focus on a botton-down collar and this sweater delivers. It won't disappoint.

This is the sweater you wear when a room has the A/C too low. Nice for moderately cool Southern California evenings and lightweight. I do not care for Wool crew neck sweaters (I get V-neck wool), I seem to get the neckline against my skin. This is like wearing a thick t-shirt that does not get tight anywhere. Great sweater, sleeves length a little long-drapes nicely, all cotton, use care not to wash warm.
