Very nice tie. The floral stripe is something out of the ordinary that will draw compliments. The wine base-color (which is the color I opted for) gives a pleasant splash of color against a dark suit.
Altea makes a solid tie. There is little comparison, except for price, between this tie and a $30 department store tie. You won't be disappointed.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: for my brother-in-law - specifically at request of his wife. somehow he only wears ties that I buy for him and I'd stopped doing so a long time ago. he's graying well for a dark-haired man and is very fair, so needs the navy to complement a caramel cashmere jacket which he loves that makes him look way sallow.
