Rugged, but heavy & not much room

No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Well-made but very heavy -- I doubt any airline would allow this bag to be checked in, especially when filled! However, it will be a great gear bag for car trips to the beach or fishing hole -- it's long enough to hold the children's shovels, buckets nets, etc. It is not as capacious as it looks, in part because it has 2 separate compartments and is not very flexible. Even though its dimensions are greater than that of my standard LL Bean XL rolling duffel, it holds less while weighing far more.
