Lots of room and we are the, "add things at the last moment," type.
Rollinfg High Sierra Duffel By Saintelias from Hot SPrings. SD on 10/21/2009 Pros: Easy to Transport, Large Capacity Cons: Bad zippers, Heavy, Weak Seems Best Uses: Airline Travel, Short Travel, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have had the 30" version of this for a couple of years. It is getting very worn so I needed a new one. For duffel needs I would go with the 30" not the 26" The 26" does not have enough capacity. For the price these duffels are good however they do wear out. I had to replace the zippers within a year and and I didn't bother with fixing the pocket zippers because of the cost. All the zippers will wear out or break within two years if you use the duffel on an average of once a month. They are nice because of the wheels for transport in airports. The nylon wears pretty quickly especially if doing a lot of airplane trips. I would view these duffels as "throaway"--Use them for a year or two and then buy a new one.
Good value for non-rugged travel By Adam from Charlotte, NC on 10/21/2009 Pros: Easy to Transport, Large Capacity, Lightweight Best Uses: Short Travel, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It's a good bag, but don't expect it to last forever. I used one on 25-30 trips or so and it held up fine, but then experienced some issues with the seams and zipper at the end. I still feel it was worth the money- enough that I bought a second one. I like the flexibility- you can really shove a lot of stuff in there. And its reasonable weight too. I also didn't have any problems with the wheels.
So if you're a light traveler its a good option. If you need something for rugged travel or outdoor use, step up a notch or two and spend for better quality.
